Matrixyl

Matrixyl, Matrixyl 3000 and Matrixyl synthe’6® are anti wrinkle formulas developed by cosmetic chemical manufacturer Sederma and incorporated by skin care companies in creams. Sederma is a subsidiary of French chemical company Croda who manufacturers chemicals for home, health and crop care. Matrixyl is found in numerous cream based moisturizers, serums, cleansers and lotions. Sederma claims the product restores skin’s metabolism of youth by simulating synthesis of Collagen-I, -IV, -VII, -XVII and Nidogen-I proteins. Matrixyl combines two peptides, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 and palmitoyl oligopeptide, resulting in an entirely new super peptides. Numerous skin care brands incorporate into their formulas and usually combine the ingredient with other anti wrinkle ingredients. The recommended dosage of Matrixyl is 2%, however, often manufacturers use lower or higher percentages based on their marketing claims. The latest addition to the Matrixyl family is Matrixyl ®synthe’6, which boosts skin’s rebuilding essentials. The ingredients are slightly different and include hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38.

Matrixyl and matrixyl 3000 are two revolutionary anti-wrinkle formulas. This is what the parent company Sederma claims and based on these claims, so many skin care companies have incorporated these formulas in their creams. Matrixyl 3000 argireline collagen hyaluronic acid forms one of the prime ingredients of various cream based lotions, moisturizers, cleansers and serums. According to Sederma, this product restores the skin’s metabolism by stimulating the production of collagen, which in turn, increases the elasticity of the skin. There is no doubt that it is a great formula, since Isomers matrixyl is a very frequently bought anti-aging product.

I have practically taken 10 years off my face by doing the following. Increased water consumption. Carrot, apple broccoli, spinach and lemon juice(Juice in juicer) The trampoline increased my circulation 10 fold. A visit to the Esthetician where I had a micro dermabrasion followed by glycolic peel. I use Vit C serum/hyaluronic acid, retinol cream and vitamin B3/B5 serum all for about $27. And at nights I put pure aloe vera gel on my face and slept with it. I also do face exercises freelance. The difference is outstanding. I have a much clearer softer and firmer look. The creams alone are not gonna do it people. And don’t forget lots of sunscreen. Use products with glycerin and hyaluronic acid. They are cheap and highly effective. Lots of all those big names that we cannot pronounce are there to deceive in order to pump up price. Next time Im gonna try pure gelatin as a facial mask. After all isin’t that protein? For now I use eggs and the tightening is exceptional.

And don’t forget a good night’s rest. Try not to sleep on your face in the pillow because gravity will pull it down. Sleep on your back or lightly to the side. Crucial is to keep the hormones balanced. A hormonal imbalance will defeat any good skin care regime that you have. There are bio-identical creams available. I have a good estriol cream that has worked wonders on my aging neck.

Look at what the previous comment as it would be easy to find which products contain Matrixyl and Matrixyl 3000. If you see the ingredients below or search for them you will find products that contain this. Otherwise you could go to your drugstore and scan the anti aging products that contain these ingredients. Just look for: Glycerin, Aqua, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide. Not just one but all

  4. Matrixyl 3000

Do you have a list of products that contain Matrixyl 3000? I have searches this ingredient on a few products but cannot find it anywhere. Should I be looking at a different ingredient name?

  5. Lara

To be honest I did not see any result from using a product that contains Matrixyl 3000. Actually I was just checking the ingredients and this site came up. Why is this ingredient so popular when it does not work?

  6. Jessica

I have tried every wrinkle cream and Matrixyl 3000 is the worst product I have used. It is very drying and it has done absolutely nothing to my wrinkles. Over the years I have realized that wrinkle creams don’t work, but at least they moisturize the skin. Matrixyl Cream does the opposite.

  7. Matrixyl 3000

Matrixyl 3000 sounds like a robot from space. I prefer using natural products on my skin. This will probably make you breakout.

  8. Stacy

I just use Matrixyl 3000 Serum w/ Hyaluronic Acid. It cost $22 and you can buy it from Amazon. To be perfectly honest, I have not seen a result from this yet and want to try something new.

  9. Skylar

Almost every anti aging cream contains Matrixyl 3000. You wont find it in the ingredient list though. If you see the ingredients below you will know the product contains Matrixyl.

    Matrixyl ingredients:

I have been using Matrixyl products for years. I use a product called Isomers Matrixyl Advanced Wrinkle Defense Cream Day & Night. I am not sure if this contains Matrixyl 3000 but it is stellar product. It costs $50 and you can buy it on a website called ShopNBC. I use it at day and night and I find it to be as hydrating as moisturizers designed specifically for very dry skin types.

    Hi Tamara and Sarah,

I read your comments here and I have found out a cream with matrixyl 3000. Epicura Skin™ Rejuve Anti Aging Cream Moisturizer With Matrixyl® 3000, its on amazon.com

  12. Tamara

Can you buy a stronger matrixyl 3000 cream or do they all have the same amount of matrixyl 3000 inside/ Why cant you make your own matrixyl cream? I am no expert but I only want to build something simple and if I want to make something organic it doesnt mean the whole thing needs to be organic!

  13. Poppy

    Hey Tamara
I have not found any creams with matrixyl 3000 yet, the ingredient just came out a few months ago and it will be a while before it is incorporated into a product. Formulation and testing can take some manufacturers several months and other a few years. I am not convinced there is a big difference between matrixyl and matrixyl 3000 so don’t get too excited about the whole thing. The product is very similar to argireline and manufacturers incorporate matrixyl 3000 into serums and creams. matrixyl 3000 is not the next big thing but it is a safe ingredients and there are no side effects if you use it.

    Hi Tamara
I would like to know where you can get matrixyl 3000 in a cream. This is the replacement or upgraded version of matrixyl but I cannot find any creams that contain matrixyl 3000. If you can make a skin care cream with matrixyl 3000 I will buy it from you.

  15. Tamara

Does anybody know what you can buy Matrixyl?
I make my own organic cream using olive oil, avocado, honey and use it at night but I want to put Matrixyl in there to help with my facial wrinkles and have heard Matrixyl is very good for skin wrinkles. I know it is in many skin care products but the problem is I like natural skin care and actually enjoy making my on products. Can anybody tell me where I can buy Matrixyl?
    Thanks
    Tamara
